I Love hockey, but most american dont like it as much as the NBA, MLB, or NFL. here in canada its nhl first, and then the nba,
and mlb is at the bottom of the list.....

It just a sport they weren't exposed to. If you look at Boston, New York, and other northern states in the U.S. most citizens like hockey. Give it some time, I think the powers to be of the NHL have a good road map to promote hockey within the U.S.

I think americans don't like hockey as much as canadians for the same reason why Americans don't like soccer as much as the rest of the world. It's boring to most of us.

We're still stumped as to why we're just about the only country in the world that isn't obsessed with soccer. lol.

ummm...cuz American's have other sports to obsess over such as: basketball, football (and no not soccer, the real football)!
