Yes, Marriage from Surviving to Thriving by Chuck Swindall. It's a very good book. Loved hearing his preaching series on the radio about marriage. I've been using alot of what he suggested in my own marriage, and it has really helped.
Look for it at a Christian Bookstore.

I HIGHLY recommend pretty much anything from Gary Smalley. He has a new book and conference called "I Promise"--and it is really good. You can find all kinds of info at
www.dnaofrelationships.com
or just look up Gary Smalley in a search.
If you can attend one of the weekend conferences, you would definitely benefit from it. He talks a lot about how our past baggage carries over into our current relationships.
Good Luck and God Bless You!

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/72ygO
It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

There is not a book that can help him. The best bet is for him and yourself to attend counselling to help him and to help the both of you on how to learn how to communicate with each other. A good book That I have read is "His needs her needs" by Willard F. Harley, Jr. He has all sorts of books out there for relationships, but this one focuses on building an affair proof marriage. It really is good and works. Hope you guys can figure your relationship out....good luck.

First of all your husband is wrong in following his father's footsteps. I have had bad times in my marriage but I have found out that communication and 100% FROM both parties has helped alot.

A book isn't the thing that he needs, a book isn't going to help you and change what his father did to him. He needs professional help! There is no other way to go about this.
God Bless!
