Hitler ordered the burning of the Reichstag, and then denounced it as a terrorist attack in order to frighten the German people into giving him the power of dictatorship, and thus plunged Germany into a self destructive war for his own twisted idea of killing off the Jews. If the people of Germany were confronted with the evidence that this was an inside job (and I assume many were) Did they react the same way that the ultra right wing conservatives do when confronted with evidence that Bush at least had prior knowlage if not responsibility for the "terrorist" attacks of 911.

It's just you and the other "lets find a way to blame bush and the republicans for all the world's woes" crowd.

if you truly are a chef, then maybe you have been leaning over the burners a little too long. I saw it in my time in the kitchen, too much heat and sauce fumes can do a number on the brain, try switching over to prep work, i think you will find it more relaxing. And Yes I really am a chef and not just some guy who sticks a chef's hat on my avatar, thank you.

People have been saying this stuff since FDR, geez since Julius Caesar, "Oh it was an inside job!"

No it was a bunch of pissed off terrorists who have been nipping at the United states for almost 30 years.

Do you think they hostages in Iran were a plot by bush to establish a network of terrorists plotting to attack the us?

Do you think the bombings of American property all through the 80 and 90's were part of bush's secret Cabal towards world domination?

Give it a rest people.

There is no Illuminati, there is no cabal of Yale frat boys trying to take over the world and evil radioactive chimps don't run the international space station.

What it is, is a lot of over active imaginations looking for a villain in the president because of their own small minded, biased, hate filled and boring little worlds.

I'm not Pro Bush but the idea that he or his administration was involved in the 9/11 attacks is a misleading to the facts as his Iraq
policy is..I am aware of the books, the articles and the films suggesting this theory.and if you would take them by face value with out looking at the overwhelming evidence they could be very convincing..I agree there are questions..but this is so in all tragedys.9/11 theorist often misquote, manipulate facts and leave out evidence that often contradict there theory,in any event a theory is an assumption with out proof !
As far as Prior knowledge it has been suggested in the very least that American security ,the FBI and the CIA were not communicating and this tragedy could have been prevented if they were !

Wow, man...that's some serious chit you've been smokin'.

I am a Libertarian, certainly not a "ultra right wing conservative" and I have yet to see any convincing, credible evidence that Bush know what was going to happen.

What I really want to know is - what did those documents say that Sandy Berger stole from the National Archives? Don't you think THAT deserves a closer look? If a Republican had done that, the left would be calling for his head on a platter. But since it was a Democrat....just silence. I find that absolutely astonishing.

No, it is not just you! I heard about that too, in one of the documentaries I watched recently. Scary stuff, and the people who continue to scoff, without doing any research into the matter...will feel awfully funny when they wake up one morning and find themselves in a police state with all of their basic human rights and freedoms taken from them. They will then wonder why they didn't listen!!! Don't just write us off as a bunch of delusional nuts....watch the documentaries, do the research...then you can make up your own mind!!! the evidence presented in these documentaries is very compelling! I bet lots of people scoffed in Germany before the nazi fascist took over! Think about it!!!What if we are right, and you have a chance to fight them, and you do nothing, how would you feel then!!!

Very similar?

Please stop with the "confronted with evidence" rhetoric. There is no credible or valid evidence - only op-blogs, biased websites, fictional movies and cherry picked, out of context quotes - along with a sprinkling of out right lies.

How soon we forget about all of the other radicals' acts of war, murder and terror carried out against Americans all over the globe since 1979 - was Bush privy to all of these, too, or did he actually orchestrate them?

Have a little respect for the families and victims of Islamic terrorism and use some common sense.

Don't forget the Murrah Bldg in OKC. There was prior knowledge there. There was a federal informant named Carol Howe who reported to her handler, Angela Finley about the bombing. There was also a man (I can't remember his name) who was an informant. There was a German national named Andreas Strassmier, who came to the US for a job with the DEA or CIA. He ended up at Elohim City, as head of security. Strassmier is the guy McVeigh was trying to call. The bombing was apparently masterminded by the "Reverand" Millar, who ran Elohim City. Even though the "Rev" Millar wasn't considered worth questioning by the authorities, when independent journalists tracked him down, the government said he was an "informant".

So we have people planning terrorist acts who are "government informants". Check it out for yourself. The New American Magazine: www.thenewamerican.com

I doubt our authorities had something to do with 9/11 except incompetence. notwithstanding, there nonetheless are a large number of similarities, and that i do believe that they used it to attain extra skill to finish their little inner most conflict in Iraq.

Hilter didn't order the burning of it. There happened to be a fire there and there was a Jew seen leaving the building, so he blamed it on the Jews. Get your facts straight.

Yes sweetheart. It's just you. Sad. Clinton is the one responsible by his ineffective half-assed "answer" to all the attacks on his regime's watch. Bush hadn't been in office long enough to piss anybody off yet.
