I just purchased a used Volvo from a dealership. I noticed two blue LEDs on the grille. They come on with the headlights. They are definitely an aftermarket product. The dealer did not know what they were for. Any ideas?

I would bet they were added for looks. Someone thought the blue light in the grill would look cool at night.

-Unless somebody got conned into thinking that it would mess with laser speed guns. There have been stories about different light frequencies messing with the cop's speed guns for years, and products to match. None of them work, all the products are rip-offs.

The blue LEDs are for looks. Some show cars have them. The car may have had other matching blue lights on it at one time.I.E.-undercarriage lights. Check other places on your car. You may find other lights that are burned out or corroded.

Yes, reguralar lights aren't light enough, the LEAD lights are a lot heavier.
