I need ideas for a speech. It can be informative or pursuaisive but not a how to speech. I know i should pick a topic im interested in and enthusiastic about but I need some ideas just to get thinking about what I should pick.

You can do a speech on Sprint phones trying to convince people that Sprint service is better then Verizon or you can switch it up use a phone for your visual aid. Talk about the plans and features that one company has that the other might not

He is a topic that you might like to consider.

Where have all the great speakers gone? Words, great and awe inspiring words, lift ones soul and give new hope for a better tomorrow, but alas, it is a dying art. (you could list the reasons... television, radio ads, newspaper accounts, computer blogs etc..)

(Then you could offer some famous lines from great orators.)

Winston Churchill inspired a nation to rise above the terror of war when he stated; "Victory at all costs - Victory in spite of all terrors - Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival."

John F. Kennedy inspired a generation when he ask this. "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."

You could do a persuasive speech on why one should stay in school. There are all sort of reasons you could come up with on this topic.

You could pick something from history, like the treatment of Haulocaust victims, the assasination of JFK, the "murder" od Marilyn Monroe, Columbine & bullying.
