Think about it this way:
Even if you just lived to 50, that is the same as living every single day of your life up to now, again, and then some. Chances are you will live longer than that.
So no, you are not running out of time.
As for the rest, you are better off waiting to find the right person to get married, than rushing off to do it just because everyone else is doing it.
Also, success is measured in different ways by different people. You have to find your own definition for it. What do you want to do with your life?

you wrote that you feel awkward when a member of your family comes to visit, who you know they have their life easy and you don't. You also wrote that you did not finish High School , and you don't think that you cannot compare to them. For starters any one can finish their education if they really want to,I am a living testament of that since I married my husband when i was 16 yrs. old and we had seven kids, My first priority was being a good wife and than a good mother to my kids. I always wanted to help my kids with their problems in Math and they knew I had not finish my education so, what I did was go and get my G.E.D. which is equivalent as a high school education and I even enrolled in College. As to your worry of not being Married, I guess that in time you will find that special someone that will love you and will be a part of your life forever, if you do not have him already. I have never regretted getting married at such a young age, and my husband and I have been married for 48, going into our 49 yrs. of married life coming this June. Thanking God for it. Do not despair if you feel let down because of the way you feel about your situation, relax and let go and then let God and you will have what you want to achieve in your life. Wishing you the best, I care.

I know how you feel..I graduated high school and attended some college but I recently stopped bc of financial problems..It seems like everyone is moving forward but me at times..but I do work and I am saving money so I can get back on track...What I'm saying to you is, get your GED (it's not too late)& go to college..Also,the last thing you want to do is create a family at this time with your situation...try not to compare yourself w/ others, all you can do is pull yourself up..good luck though :)

Most people live to age 80, and older, today. You have a LOT of time ahead of you.
No, you can go back to school at any time and get your GED.
My wife and I DID graduate from High School, but then we got married 1 months later. At age 18.
We went to college, at age 21, 1 class per semester, 4 classes per year. It took us 9 YEARS to graduate.

Here's something about graduating high school. Yeah, ok, I did. But I've noticed that college grads have as much trouble finding the right job as I do. And really, I see why, we live with the free enterprise system. That means if you can do my job cheaper, then you'll probably have it. Education or not. Just thought you need to consider that.

your nuts, you're just a kid, you have plenty of time to
get married. But I certainly would take the opportunity
while you have the time to go to school and get a career
that would propel you in at least a middle class income
level. Professional women are having children later.
You would have a better chance of meeting someone
goal oriented and family oriented in your age group if
you attend college

Sweetie, don't ever underestimate yourself, you are young! You have plenty of time, don't ever let anyone make you feel bad about yourself, you can do or be anything your heart desires, don't be in a hurry to get married, longer you wait more chance it will last. I don't know you, but I know you are a great person, and I wish you the best of luck, figure out what you want out of life and go get it!

we're all running out of time...so to bluntly answer your question, "yes", you are running out of time! but don't sit around bickering and swimming in your own lack of self accomplishments, get up and make a change, make things happen for 'you', yourself. No one else will do that for you but 'you'! Now, GO AND MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!! prove something!

Keep your head up!
Try listening to
"Blue collar man"
By "Styx"
"Keep pushing"
By R.E.O. speedwagon.
May not be your type of music but just check it out.
Its uplifting and motivational.
