i think the regulation is to close the pool for a minimum of 1 hour after removing the feces and adding an amount of chlorine that will shock the pool. then, and only then, would i return to the pool.

That is very nasty. I wouldn't get back into the pool until the water has been all removed and the pool has been sanatized and then fresh water put into it. If all they did was scoop it out then that is very nasty and there is still body waste in the water.

Well if the pool is a gym pool then that the fecal matter will be dilute. and with the chlorine it would clean and disintegrate bacteria.

unfortunately it happens all the time..as long as the staff cleared people from the pool, removed the offending item..ahem...and then super chlorinated the pool (this takes 24 hours), then all should be okay.....it is just so gross tho

yes there is plenty of clorine in public pools. Think of how many times it prolly happened and u didnt even no and it didnt ever hurt u did it. Theres plenty of chlorine don worry
