Nigeria may get into a semi civil war coming up --if they do--prices will go up. China is becoming more power hungry for oil as their economy builds causing steady increases in demand and therefor prices. Russia is trying to strong arm Germany into selling out their pipe lines for gas--this is a sneaky move for future events and control over a nation"s energy needs. There"s more to consider ,much more,but I would not buy a large ,gas hog even with rebates and lower gas prices at this time.

Thats what the government wants you to do.Lower the gas price and make incentives for the large SUV's.The average John Doe buys the large vehicle and it looks good but then comes the long weekends,or holidays and the gas price jumps 20 cents and the deal on the SUV is not such a deal.
Bang the Government has given you the shaft.

most likely no. gas is usually cheaper in the winter and will go to f-ing rediculus prices in the summer again. also the oil companies will try to raise prices anyway to continue their high earnings.
