It depends on why you hate her. What has she done to make you feel this way. My mother-in-law was as cold as ice There was no hugging or kissing or I love you's with her son or myself. My husband said it was because she has lost 7 siblings but I just think she was cold.But I never hated her and treated her with respect.

Nah, I don't know many people who don't hate their mother in law. I loved mine before she passed away but I was definitely the exception to the rule.

No, we all have issues with our in laws. The same way we have issues with our own parents, it doesn't make you a bad person, I'm sure you have your reasons.

No, I don't like my mother in law either. My husband is black, I'm white. She thinks I'm trailer trash and degrades me. It doesn't matter that I'm a registered nurse, I owned my own house and car.
