I'm looking for ideas on my 4 min short Mission Impossible film.

I really want it to mirror the original TV show. I have people lined up for the roles, but I just don't have a mission for them to accomplish.

Mission Impossible (MI) always used gadgets and impersonation as a plot device. The bad guy always gets set up for a fall...
So for a short movie have some kids under the supervision of a tyrannical baby sitter use M.I. tactics covertly order and receive a pizza delivery. Have kids use RC car to retrieve the cordless phone or use baby sitters phone. You could impersonate the baby sitter at the door receiving the pizza while the real babysitter is distracted at the back door with a diversion... A funny situation would be for kids to get the pizza yet have the unsuspecting baby sitter have to pay for it with the delivery man still at the door. You could also time it to happen as the parents come home to the disturbance.
You can scale this up based on your actors ages... friends rescuing a grounded friend under the watchful parents eye.
Or similar mission Ala "Ferris Buhler's Day Off" rescuing the girl from school...
