If you saw a big red button that said "do not push" would you be tempted to push it?

I would be very tempted to. But with it saying do not push, something bad might happen. But on the other hand, what could a button do?

The question's a little vague, but given that I was far from any sort of weapons facility or other place where stuff might explode, god yes.

As an aside, I wonder if the guys who work in the big red button plant get desensitized? You know like if it came to a point where they actually had to push one, they'd say "You know, I just don't facking feel like it"

I'd be tempted only if the warning seemed to make NO sense. For example, if I was in the control room of a nuclear reactor, there's no way in hell I'd press the button. But if I was standing next to a dilapidated wooden fence on a bucolic farm and saw that button, I'd definitely press it.

if I'm stuck in an aircraft in space or in a train or at a public place i wouldn't dare push it. but if I'm alone and no ones around, pushing it would be tempting. depends on the situation or surroundings.
