The only way to get rid of having a period totally is to have a complete hysterectomy where they take out your uterus. Now seeing how you are so young, I doubt very much you'll be able to find a doctor that is willing to preform one.
You can however go to a gynecologist and telling them what is going on, they might put you on birth control pills which will make your periods less intense. There is also one form of birth control that makes it so you only have 4 periods a year instead of 12. I know when I was your age having a period was very painful and made me very ill. So I can sympathize.

I guess you don't want kids in the future then. Your gonna have to live with your period for awhile kiddo. I don't know if there is a age limit but you can take birth control pills or the patch, this doesn't stop your period but you can decide when you want to get your period which is pretty neat!

Get used to it kid. It's gonna be with you for a long time. None of us like it, but we all have to go through it. It's just part of life. Maybe you'll be lucky and go through menopause early. Check with your mom.....unless she had a hysterectomy, what she went through is pretty close to what you will go through. Since you are only 12, though, odds are SHE hasn't even gone through it yet. It probably won't happen until she is in her early to mid 40's.

hmmmm u r a little too young for birth control pills but there is a pill that you only get your period 4 times a year Its called Seasonale...other than that just take some midol and deal with it

yeah, you and everyone other female in the world. just deal with it, get some ice cream, a heating pad, some good pain reliever, a magazine, and settle into bed in front of the tv. once a month for the next forty years or so. have fun!

sorry to hear that.
unfortunalty it is all part of nature.....sorry.
had you been older i would have gone into the diffrent excersises that the Toa teachers use to stop menstration in women.
