You don't mention furniture, so we won't worry about that. If you do have furniture you need a moving company or one of those POD things where you can pack it in yourself and they will take it where you want.
Otherwise, buy a few of those plastic storage boxes, the big retangular tub things with a lid. Walmart has them for $3 to $7. Or get some cardboard boxes. Use your towels to wrap your dishes and pots, keeping out just enough to get by on. If you are doing the U-Haul, double big trash bags and fill with clothes, bedding, shoes, rugs. Pictures and knick-knacks can go into a plastic tub, box or bag, using towels or clothing for padding. Unhook all your appliances and electronics, pack in tubs or boxes, use gallon food bags to keep the cords and small parts together. Books and stationary, office supplies go into boxes or grocery bags. The old square paper bags are great. Pick up a cheap roll of packaging tape and secure whatever needs it. If you are doing this by yourself, remember that the money you are saving can be used for buying containers, tape and packing. Put one tub aside for what you will need the first few days: bath items, cosmetics, coffee pot and cup, hair dryer, etc. Pack it last. Try to get all your personal papers, family pictures, etc in a good safe box and carry it near you. Get the important stuff in one place when you get to your new home. If you are cleaning an apartment you are leaving you will need to keep the tools and products out till you are through. Keep a couple of trash bags handy to put wet mops and rags in. If you are taking curtains, drapes, pictures etc, get some small ziplock bags for the hardware, hooks, rods, etc. Are you moving a pet? Be sure their bedding, sandbox, dishes and food are with them. They will be less upset if they have familuar things around. Use a small ice chest to carry a few items for a quick meal when you get there. Some butter, juice, a bottle of wine, milk. You won't want to have to go shopping right away.
Good luck with your new job and home.

Get a U-Haul and get a lot of boxes from a grocery store or hardware store and start packing. Throw out anything that you rarely use anymore, or drop it off at the Salvation Army. Use newspaper to wrap your china, glassware, ceramic ornaments.
Now go get busy. Moving's a big job. Hopefully you know a few guys who can help you move the big pieces of furniture like the couch, bed, heavy furniture. Good luck!

Get a few friends to help, order a pizza and get some boxes, can get them from moving companies, local stores, liquor stores some might charge but not much, moving companies charge the most but nice boxes, put all cd's and movies and such in one box, along with remote controls, place the things you shall need first in boxes marked good, like alarm clock, tooth brush stuff for hair, Wish I could remember the name of the place on the net, that gives great advice & hints, but that gives you a start
Good luck to you .....

Get as many boxes as you can-even the booze store for glassware (boxes). Go to grocery stores, etc., even U Haul, and lots of packing tape. Also, markers to mark the rooms each box goes into. Use your linens-sheets, towels, etc. to pack things in-if you can, get a few friends to help. Each pack a room of stuff. If you want a u haul-please reserve it ASAP. Or, as a friend suggests, have a garage sale to get rid of extra stuff you don't want-friends to help on that too. Blankets, etc. can help protect posssible breakable stuff--blender, microwave, etc. Newspaper between plates, glassware, etc. When packing a truck, start with big items-furniture, then boxes. Drive safely too. Wishing you the best on your move and new job!

BOX OR BAG UP YOUR THINGS AND MARK EITHER WHAT THEY ARE OR WHAT ROOM THEY'LL GO INTO. KEEP YOUR BATHROOM STUFF OUT WHERE YOU CAN GET TO IT EASILY. ALSO YOUR SUPPLIES FOR BREAKFAST. REMEMBER TO GO TO THE POST OFFICE AND DO A CHANGE OF ADDRESS CARD.

regrettably, you somewhat won't be able to. human beings (extraordinarily adult males) hate to be rushed. basically relax and enjoy what you've! i understand we've a tendency to favor better, yet often times solid issues come to human beings that wait!!
