Go to a hospital or doctors office and ask if you can get one from them and if you can bring it back for disposal when it is full. The least they can do is say no, but even then you could get information from them about who to contact for such a need. I went through fertility treatments and received my shots at home. My doctor sent a sharps box home with me and told me when were finished with it I could give it back and they would have it disposed of for me.

Not sure about the UK, but in the USA you can purchase sharps containers at the pharmacy for safe disposal. If that isn't an option for you, as at the pharmacy or whatever licensing board for the piercings there is about the best way to dispose of them.
You may be able to purchase one online, as well...check the link below.

For about 6 months I had to give myself shots and I would put the needles in a 2 liter Coke bottle and then take them to my Dr. office and he would dispose of them for me, but I was also told I could take them to any ER and they would also take care of them. I don't know if they would do the same in the UK but it is something to look into and 1 suggestion.

Get metal box such as a ammo box, (try sporting goods or army surplus) place sharps in box and pour epoxy over them or some other hardening agent. If you are going to have lots of them do it in layers until box is full then add enough to contact lid to glue it shut. Should be able to dispose of in trash then.

You can buy sharps containers at the apothecary. You may also be able to take the full container back to them. Sometimes your Doctors office can dispose of them for you.

I don't know if they have milk jugs made of plastic or if you have 20 oz. soft drink bottles. You need to put them in one of those. If you have recycling over there, mark with a marker on it "Do not recycle." Hope this helps!

why not get an orange and poke them all inside it. An orange drys out and the skin becomes hard. That could protect others from the needles.
