It was banned when Adnan Menderes was the Prime Minister of Turkey and he was overthrown by Army in 1960. From 1974 the ban on Bhagvad Geeta in Turkey was lifted after Bulent Ecevit got elected as the Prime Minister.

well what do u mean. The Bhagwat Gita was a book talking about what Lord Krishna said to Arujuna who was very confused should he fight what he believes in or should he fight with his family who is doing wrong deeds. Then Arujuna relizes that Lord Krishna is god and should take advice from him. The book banned from Turkey well i don't think it is usally you can find it any indian store you go to. Usally i would know this stuff about india cuz i am from there i am fair though.
