believe it or not, is not possible to get PERFECT skin.
no matter WHAT the dermatologists or commercials say.
some dermatologists will be honest with you and say the truth that the models on seventeen magazine covers are airbrushed.
:(
i know, the sad truth.
BUT there ALWAYS natural home ingredients that you can use to make your skin more clearer and beautiful.
if you have acne, try clearisil or pro-activ.
If you're just looking for clear skin, then you should try this:
Wash your face atleast 3 times a day: Before breakfast, after lunch and before dinner.
Every morning, drink atleast a cup of cool, fresh water.
If you have time, drink lemon squeezed water, it does skin good!
And at nighttime, use aveeno baby lotion, it makes your skin SOOOOO SOFT and clear!
REMEMBER, drink PLENTY of water.
the minerals inside the water clean out your body, including your pores!
believe me, water is the key to flawlessness!<3

I never had an issue with clear skin until my late twenties/early 30s...YIKES! I've tried Proactive and it worked....for a few weeks.
The ONLY thing I now use are products from Philosophy:
Purity Cleanser (this stuff WORKS), Hope in a Bottle for congested skin, and The Present clear powder for enlarged pores. They have a kit for congested skin also that works well too, although I forget what it's called.
I lied...I use 1 thing from Chanel that is an oil absorber and the only thing I have found that actually works.

There are multiple Skincare products on the market that will clear up a face. Find one that is suited to your skin type. You might like to go to a Dermatologist for that or simply read the labels on the face product.
Use a cleanser and moistuiser daily and exfoliate once or twice a week for glowing skin.
Try Clearasil, Clean and Clear, ProActive etc.

Well, I suggest finding yourself a dermatologist. For me, it wasn't too expensive because I'm insured, so the prescriptions and appointments didn't cost too much.
Before going to the dermatologist, I had breakouts all over my forehead, and SO MANY blackheads. All I did was set up an appointment, and I was prescribed THREE lotions.
The trick is: patience, and FOLLOW the derm's directions. It took 2 months for my skin to clear up. Before using prescriptions, I use Cetaphil, which I highly recommend. All year round, use sunscreen.
If you're a female: Use mineral make-up. ALWAYS remove your make-up before going to bed. Don't cleanse your face too often. Only morning and night. Replace pillowcases often. Get into the habit of wiping down any phones you use at home with some alcohol (since they often touch your face).

I would suggest Mary Kay's Velocity line or Time Wise line (anti-aging). They also make a variety of products for blemish prone skin that are awesome! A good diet lots of water, rest and exercise help too!
Time Wise has a number of products that are anti-aging with sunscreens that are very effective. I've found the Timewise line make my skin look almost flawless! Just look for a consultant in your area.

Might want to take Evening Primrose Oil capsules daily. It is a great supplement for balancing your hormones (which can also cause breakouts) and is good for skin. Take it with a full glass of water. You can find this supplement in the pharmacy/vitamin section of your local Wal-mart.

Natural Skin Care Tips for Healthier, Beautiful Skin
by Kathryn D'Imperio
When meeting someone new, most people take notice of the person’s face first. For this and other reasons, maintaining clean, healthy skin is paramount to self-esteem, confidence and even attitude.
Getting healthier skin is not contingent upon high-cost prescription medications or obsessive skin care routines. Modifying your daily routine a tiny bit and upholding disciplined cleansing habits can help to add flawless skin to the list of your best qualities.
Eat healthier
By avoiding foods that often make your face breakout, your skin will be less oily and more resistant to blemishes. Some problem foods that may cause pimples or breakouts include chocolate and other candy, French fries, fast food, pizza and soft drinks.
To get your skin in better shape, you may not have to give up everything that has negative effects on your skin, but rather, eat those things in moderation. Have greasier foods as a special treat or on rare occasion when eating a healthy, balanced meal is out of the question.
Hydrate and exercise
Drinking the recommended eight glasses of water per day coupled with some regular exercise - walking, running, bicycling, engaging in sports - should have a great impact on one’s complexion. Increased blood flow due to aerobic exercise will positively impact one’s complexion with a glowing look to replace dull skin.
Not only will exercise and drinking water help skin tone and texture, but it will also make you feel more energized and great about yourself. By keeping your body in shape, you will feel less stressed and more capable of achieving those things you set out to do.
Monitor sun exposure
By using a moderate strength sunscreen, you will be protecting your skin from sun damage, skin cancer, aging and premature wrinkles. Too much sun can blister one’s lips, leaving them red, sore and charred. Sunburned skin will eventually peel most times, leaving skin areas blotchy and sensitive. The best approach to preventing sunburn and other sun-caused skin problems is to monitor how much time one spends in the sun and to avoid sun exposure by using sunscreen with SPF 15 or greater.
Practice a regular cleansing routine
Cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturize…this daily routine should carry you on your way toward healthier skin. Select a gentle skin cleansing solution that works for your specific type of skin - dry, oily, normal. Using your selected product, cleanse face in a circular motion and rinse with lukewarm water, as hot water zaps skin’s moisture.
Follow the cleansing stage with an exfoliant. A granular product is often especially effective in smoothing rough areas and releasing dead skin cells, allowing the face to be better moisturized.
After the exfoliation process concludes, use a toner or an astringent to tighten skin and remove any makeup or cleanser residue. A nice alternative to a toner or astringent would be doing a facial masque at least once a week, which tackles clogged pores while also firming skin and leaving it soft and silky.
Finally, pat skin dry with a soft towel but do not dry up all the water. Apply a moisturizer (with or without sunscreen) to help protect skin from dryness. Those who have oily skin do not have to moisturize as often as those who have dry, normal or combination skin.
Good Luck!
