Want to install a graphic card in a Dell Deminsion/w/2.66 CPU so Vista HomePremium will run (Aero).

This is the requirement for Vista Home Premium with Aero Glass:

* 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor.
* 1 GB of system memory.
* Support for DirectX 9 graphics with a WDDM driver, 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum), Pixel Shader 2.0 and 32 bits per pixel.
* 40 GB of hard drive capacity with 15 GB free space.
* DVD-ROM Drive.
* Audio output capability.
* Internet access capability.

Don't rush out and buy Vista,,,,, do some home work first on it, there are a lot of problems with it.. you would be better off waiting for at least 6 months after it comes out,

Think about it MS have not got XP right and it's been out a few years and we are still getting daily updates, and according to the computer magazines it is not worth the prices of $160.00 to upgrade

DO NOT GET VISTA.. It will be loaded with bugs because it is such a new program.... wait a few months before upgradeing
