I think Peyton is a great quarterback and it seems like hes even a better person. You never hear the guy running down the defenses he plays against. He always compliments the opposition. But alot of people hate the guy! Why? Because hes good maybe? I dunno. I'm a huge Colts fan. And I hope they can win the big prize. You know alot of folks where I'm from Hate Tom Brady the same way alot of others hate Manning. But in my Opinion; Tom Brady and Manning are probably the 2 best in the league. And I thought is was wrong that those years when the Patriots where in the playoffs alot of people where doubting their ability. And I pick the Patriots to beat the Chargers! I know I know! Thats not a popular pick! But you gotta remember one thing: Tom Brady is an Experienced Quarterback! And I can't say enough about the Coach of the New England Patriots. It will be an interesting senerio if I'm right!

I don't really blame Manning for having somewhat of an ego! You just about have to have an ego to play in the NFL. I think Manning is Manning's worst enemy! I think that he has been to hard on himself in the past. He would make a mistake and the game was over! And you can't have that attitude in the NFL. If you make a mistake you gotta let it go! But this year he seems alot different! It seems like he is starting to put his mistakes behind him and move on. You can't be perfect! Its impossible! I don't know of any quarterbacks that have never thrown an interception!

Manning is a great QB and seems to be a class act. I'm not a Colts fan and I'm from Indiana but I would like to see the Pats and Colts play next week. Sometimes it is funny looking at Manning when something bad happens he looks like he is going to cry. My team is out of the playoffs so I'll probably pull for the colts I guess.

Its not even close. Eli Manning played really well down the stretch of the regular season and in the playoffs the year the Giants won the Super Bowl, but he wasn't the main reason they won. He's always remembered for somehow getting away from Patriots defenders on that famous toss-up, but David Tyree made the magical catch, and is the guy who really should get the bulk of the credit on that play. Then Eli tossed the eventual game-winner to Plaxico Burress, but the game didn't end until the Giants aggressive defensive line bull-rushed the Patriots into submission on the final drive of the game. Peyton, on the other hand, won with a less impressive defense and has done so for most of his career. His defenses have always been solid, and sometimes really good, but I'd argue that none of them ever were as good as Eli's was that one year. And even if you can say Eli had a lot to do with that title win, that still was the only year where he had things remotely together. He's been a pretty inconsistent player, otherwise, while Peyton has been the model of consistency and elite production in all facets for his entire career.

I totally agree with you about the Pats first off, the Chargers played a weaker schedule than my Bears.
For your question, I think he's a good guy. He is talented and all, but I find his playcalling extremely annoying. Every single snap there's only like 2 seconds left on the play clock. And half the time when he does all the signal crap, he gets sacked cause his O-Line and receivers don't understand sometimes what he's saying. But I think he is the best quarterback in the NFL and a class act. I can only find a couple guys that I'd put ahead of him as the "best person" in the NFL like Teddy Bruschi or Brett Favre who I have a huge amoutn of respect for as a Bears fan.
GO BEARS!!!

I am a big fan of Peyton Manning. I have followed his career in the NFL and in college football when he played with the Tennessee Volunteers. I would certainly like to see Peyton go to the Super Bowl and win!

i mean undoubtly peyton manning is just AMAZING in the regular season. but when it comes to the playoffs he just needs to keep focused. but um......i think that peyton has a really good heart. Because he and his wife started the PeyBack foundation to help kids. I think that is awesome that he would use his money to help others in need. And he doesn't have much negative media concerning his perosnal life. I mean everyone criticizes his playing ability....its like they don't see him in the good light but always the bad. he doesn't have as much drama as Eli did when eli was drafted to the Chargers. He does not act conceited and is not overrated. He has the SKILLZ to get the job done. and i think that the pats WILL beat the chargers. I don't know why ppl hate Brady. i haven't heard much bad media about him. At least not as much bad media as Tony Romo. I mean peyton is a good guy and if he wasn't married yet i think that many girls would date him. I have to say that his wife is one lucky woman! i wonder does he have kids? i bet if he did they would be great players like their daddy!

Oh I love watching him play, that is when the play is being run. He's fun to watch, and without a doubt one the best QB's to every play the game. The thing I don't like about him is the over-inflated ego. I don't mind ego, everyone should have one to a point, but his is way over-inflated... resulting in him coming off to me as a bit of a whiney cry-baby who blames others first and himself second. If it wasn't for that I'd love him.. as it is I find myself looking forward to the big choke..

Professional guy...Can get the job done on the football field and can be a role model off the field. He's the type of guy every franchise wishes to have on their team. the dude passed marino's TD record...so he has to be up there with one of the greatest QB's of alltime (without a bowl not inc this year lol)
(im not a manning fan, but i admire his achievements).
