It depends on which Staal and which Neidermeyer you are being offered. If it is Eric and Scott then yes it is a trade worth making. If it is Jordan and Rob then it would be a horrible trade. Plus you need to consider if trading away a winger (Havlat should be eligible on both wings, he is in most leagues) for a center is helping you. Without the rest of your roster I cant say, if you are deep at center and not at the wings then you might reconsider the deal but if your roster improves with a center then do it. If it is Scott Neidermeyer then a deal between him and Phaneuf is a wash, both are very talented and will get fantasy numbers very close to one another.

If It's Eric Staal And Scott Niedermyer go for it. I like Phaneuf, but Staal is a top five player VERY soon. Havlat is injury prone so trading him is a good thing. By the way keep your on Eric's brother Jordan. He's already an outstanding player. Pittsburgh just needs to give him more ice time.

I'm a canes fan and I'd rather have havlat over staal. niedermayer is better than phaneuf though so it's an even trade. at least phaneuf is young.

pull the trigger on that one man... you're getting a STEAL! Staal in a keeper league is HUGE! He'll be awesome for years to come.

ya you should do it. I think Havlat's hurt anyways so you won't get production out of him for awhile.
