As much as I loathe to admit, I can be a bit coldhearted. In my case I believe it's mostly a defense mechanism. I think some people can become coldhearted when they get hurt too.

I like justcurious's answer, he's right on but a little misguided.
Dare to believe all coldhearted women are that way for self defense. Not because they are the weaker sex, or they feel a man is gonna walk all over them.
Honestly they are coldhearted to protect themselves from the weaker males. Dare to believe they want a man who can walk all over them, but doesn't. Their coldhearted ways are utilized to weed out the weaker males, who put up with it and allow that kind of behavior.

Some women are cold hearted for defense mechanisms. Women have so long been known as the weaker sex. Women feel they have to put up a front to keep men from running all over them.

Perhaps they favor logic over emotions.
It amuses me, as I read a post by a guy who complained that women were illogical creatures who would probably be better off as property.

What's your question? Who is it you are referring to specifically? You can't make blanket generalisations like that about 51% of the population.

Some women, like myself, prefer to keep their emotions where they belong: In their heads. We're trying to hide any vulnerabilities we may have.
