It's been AT&T for awhile, they're just changing the name now. It'll be the same as it has been for the past couple years. Their coverage basically doubled with the extra towers, they kept all of Cingular's good plans with unique features like rollover. The president of the company just liked the AT&T name better and the company as a whole is looking to turn around the image the name AT&T conjures up of being old fashioned and high priced.

Just a name change will never go back to the cheap plans that were used to be offered at AT&T.

they are gonna get a new name new look and all that crap.. they still are gonna suck due to them being at&t.. but.. it is gonna take a long time for everything to merge.. everything hasnt exactly merged yet.. it is all still in progress.. but once it has all merged they are gonna change the look and name..
