I think because the men they act out against, are more ashamed and embarrassed to admit that the women in their lives are abusive.

I really don't think that it is a taboo subject like you say. The thing is that you just dont hear it as often as abuse from the man towards the women. I bet it happens and if you are in this situation you need to get out as quickly as possible and seek help! NO ONE should go through this kinda hell.

You are so right this does happen.... It is not just as talked about or popular as it is if men do it.... To me if a woman is violent or abusive she should go for help too and if she is abusive she should be turned in to the police just like any abuser should
