Sex should be seen as the deepest expression of love and not merely for pleasure. Real happiness comes from intimate relationship.But today sex is used for earning money..position and perhaps fame.I feel the purpose of sex is defeated by such demoralising acts.

For a few reasons, not the least of them is pleasure.
1) Simplest and saddest is that it feels good. This is not actually a good reason for doing anything, ever. It usually leads to regrets and sorrow, but people rarely stop to think of that. After all, we tend to live "in the moment."
2) Animals have pheromones, humans do not (at least none that we've ACTUALLY detected. We've come close, but haven't found them YET). Because of this, animals always know when their females are rutting or in HEAT, they know when its time to mate to "produce offspring." WE DO NOT. Thus, human women must be able to have sex at any time of the year, in case they are fertile.
We can go on, but those are the top two reasons for sex today. Pleasure and reproduction, well, there is rape, but thats disgusting and should be punished with every ounce of force the law can muster.

Yes, real happiness comes from intimate relationships. Thats just your terms tho. Sex is pleasure. It is to all humans. If your happy in your sex life and intimate relationship, I don't feel you need to pass judgment on those who have sex just because they have the human urge to. I don't agree with using sex to move up in business, but if that is what the person chooses to do, thats their business not mine nor yours. Let them have that label put on them of being easy to get what they want. As long as you live proper and are content with your life, why should someone elses actions affect you?

Yes sex is great when it is an expression of love, but at the same time, an orgasm just feels so great. Of course, I'm a nympho so I'm a little biased :)

It's only demoralizing if you feel it is. If you feel that sex is a fun way to spend time with a friend, then it probably won't cause any harmful side effects. It all depends on your point of view.
