Yes...depending if you really want to know.
Three times...
1) Once when my husband was stationed in Hawaii with the military and I was feeling confused and sort of rebellious towards my marriage and was considering divorce. So I went back home (KS) and stayed with my mom for a while to think things through and I remember I cried a lot when we were working things out on the phone before I decided to work on my marriage and go back to Hawaii. We only had one child at the time and now we have 4 and have been married 17 years.

2) Was when I was called by a policewoman and she said there had been in an accident involving my husband and I starting balling and freaking out to almost hyperventilating. My hubby fell asleep at the wheel and got tangled up with a light pole going about 40 MPH, he didn't have an air bag in this vehicle and it caused a lot of damage. The policewoman wouldn't go into his condition and I made the stupid mistake of going to the scene of the accident and saw the car all smashed and it was not a good idea to see the car before getting to the hospital cause I freaked out all over again and my friend had to drive after that. My husband had to stay in the hospital for 3 days but the recovery was several weeks.

3) Was when I found out my eldest sister (I have 4) was diagnosed with cervix cancer, she has since had surgery and is in remission.

What else are phones for?

And for all you people who say it's for whimps...try getting a call out of the blue from your dad who lives on another continent telling you that your mother is going into emergency surgery the next day because she has just been diagnosed with cancer. And you are 10,000 miles away.

Yes! Last month I was in severe pain after surgery and had a hell of a time to get my surgeon to call me a refill for Vicodin. I guess the water works helped.

Yes, lots of times. One time especially in my mind was when I got the phone call I had been dreading, my Dad has passed away, I sobbed and damn near had a nervous breakdown. I was expecting it, but I really wasn't ready for it.
