In sweden, they use kronas. You can either order them from your bank before you leave or visit the foreign exchange counter at the airport and most major train stations. Once you get there, US Dollars aren't going to be any good, so you'll have to exchange them. You can also take your ATM card or credit card (as long as you have a 4-digit PIN for each) and use them at the ATMs there. The rates end up being about the same as if you used a foreign exchange counter.

You simply take American money and they, Sweden,will change it into their currency. Then you learn what theirs amounts to in our money.

Be sure and exchange it back as you leave,otherwise it isn't any good over here that I know of.
