Thats a good question I dont like the show cause the plot in each show is really repetitive but i asked myself that each time.

I am assuming u r talking about Shesshomaru? Idk y he looks like a girl, it's just like asking why does Peter Griffin (Family Guy) have a butt chin? Thats just how the artists decided to do it. He is feminine, but he makes up for it with his kick *** battle skills!!

I think that relates to the term bishounen,, (pretty-looking boy),, there are lots of bishounen in the manga/anime world,,
