Yes...
He can throw the deep ball better Brady Quinn... And that's what the Raiders want in a quarterback... Too bad that their deep threats, Porter and Moss, are going to leave in the off-season... Plus he's a better scrambler, which will help, as the O-Line is brutal...
But the main reason is that he has the arm strength for 70 yard passes, and that's what Al Davis looks for in a QB...

I though the Raiders learned their lesson with Aaron Brooks... Mobile QBs are a fad... If they can not throw a football with touch they're going to sub par.
Mike Vick's yet to produce stats to justify a 1st round 1st pick. Culpepper can't seem to keep healthy and only had one good year with someone by the name of Randy Moss on his team.
If the Raiders do select JaMarcus Russell they'll beat themselves up for it and the Detroit Lions fans will have something to actually cheer about... That is if Millen doesn't pull another Wide Receiver stunt.

If they do, that will be one of the biggest mistakes that they will make!!
The problem with him is that he has poor workout habits....If you want a QB, it's safer to go with Brady Quinn.....If I were Oakland, I would take Calvin Johnson!....They have a very good Defense...Probably need Offensive Line help.
P.S......The problem with Oakland is your owner, Al Davis....No one wants to coach a team with a meddling owner.....
