Hahah, I'm a culinary student. If I hated it when someone ate off my plate, I'd starve!

Yes very much unless it's my child. Other wise get your own plate. Or if they want some of yours and you can't finish it you can put it there plate with clean silverware unless the food is mixed all together. But the best is is to tell no that you just don't like anybody eating off your plate. But say it nice so not to make them mad.

Not really... sometimes people are too shy to speak up. Maybe next time someone does it just say to them that you'll get them a plate if they're hungry. They should get the hint or take you up on your offer.

YES! That makes me really angry when someone does that.
I don't know why I get so ticked but I do.
I broke up with a guy once because he was always doing that and I was tired of getting angry.
Like you said, they always claim before hand that they're not hungry and then help themselves to all of your fries or something.
That is REALLY annoying.

No, because I know food tastes better on someone else's plate.

That is half of the reason why silverware was invented. Particularly the fork - or knife. Whichever hand is quicker on the draw.

Yes, I also resent it when people want to try something that I'm eating at the moment and that I'm visibly loving. That's deeply disturbing.

Not really. Depends if I know the person. When complete strangers do it I get a little upset.
