we have been working for four years together and i want to ask him out but im afraid it will be strange if it dosent work and we work in the same area so we see each other every day so should i or wonder what if??

no,because if it don't work out,then you both will be feeling uncomfortable on the job.And you never know.

I say try it. There are so many times that I tell my husband about situations that happened at work, and he doesn't understand, or doesn't empathize with my situation. He also doesn't get to see how hard working I really am to understand why I am so tired when I get home. You need to keep it on the down low to try to avoid some office gossip, but I would say that if you guys see eachother every day and after 4 years you still like him, he might be a keeper :)
Others who tell you to not because it may not work out, have a point, but I say hey... test the waters, you would hate yourself for never knowing if you could actually be something. Good Luck!

Once I dated a coworker and it was really good for a very long time. But then one day he just stopped talking to me and to this day I don't know why. So just be carefull if you date. Because if it doesn't work out it can make your job very hard and you might not want to stay there. Just be carefull.

If someone only dated people they work with and it didnt work out it would be like working with a bunch of ex wives or husbands.So think about it but dont do it.

No, you should not date anyone in the work place. For the reason you fear it, things may not work out and you may have problems cascading into the job area.

hey I'm a guy who has been working in factory's for years,
Don't do it girl unless you know he will respond favorably for sure,
I mean like he says so right out to your face.
if this go's bad he will tell all the other guys all about you and probably some girls too, trust me!!

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every guy I have ever dated has been a coworker- needless to say none of them has worked out. It really sucks when you break up and still have to see each other everyday.
