It depends on the type of dragon. You would need a completely different technic for a winged dragon than for oriental water dragons. Water dragons are obviously less dangerous, not being fire breathing, which is always troublesome with any attempt to trap a dragon, but they are slippery little devils.

Very carefully, enter it's cave. Then make sounds like a dying animal. Then let it chase you for a hours until it lays down and sleeps from exhaustion. Take out your fire-proof rope and tie down it's muzzle, legs, and wings gently. Avoid touching the underbelly while doing this, otherwise you will rouse him from is sleep.

dragons are big so it is difficult.
but, i have the answer.
dragons are not too fond of being caught, so you must trick them.
nicely, ask a dragon to jump. then quickly, lay down on the floor
under it, facing upwards.
When the dragon lands on you, you would have caught a live
dragon. Unfortunately you will probably die.
It is however a moral victory for you.

You have to tie a female (preferably beautiful/young) to a stake to bait the trap, then when it turns up you throw a snare around its muzzle to stop it flamimg you. Dont know how to tame it though. Or you could do it the 'Pern' way and find an egg! Instant taming at its hatching too! You'd have to wait for it to grow before you could ride it though so it depends how impatient you are!

The best way is to use a tap tap gun ,it has two barrels first locate your dragon when you can hear him in his den you fire the first barrel the shell is a special sort that tap taps . when the shell hits the edge of the dragons den it tap taps when the dragon comes out to see who is tapping you shot the bugger with the other barrel

- Attach one virgin girl
- Wait until dragon appears
- Throw one very large net over Dragon & tie end up
- Remove dragon as required
- Remember to collect reward from towns folk

First, you must find a place when you know there must be dragons nearby. Then blind them with a flash bomb, and shoot sleeping darts; now took one of them. Listo!

You need a virgin as a lure (as you do with a unicorn). This grants you an audience with it, but you can't catch a dragon, i.e. trap one.
