Advil works better because its an antiinflammatory meaning it will decrease inflammation at the site of the pain which is basically swelling and pressing on the nerves to cause the pain. Advil is good for muscular pain but Tylenol is good for any other like especially after some type of surgical intervention

Advil all the way!!! Tylenol just doesn't seem to do much for pain relief or fever. Plus you can take up to 4 Advil (800mg) for really bad pain.
Tylenol is really hard on your liver!!

I usually try Advil first, but if the pain (usually a headache) doesn't go away, I take Tylenol an hour or two later.
