...so I wouldn't have to buy or rent a compressor.

This is to nail 3/4-inch pine trim boards, like base and casing.

Some good points in these replies. I do have space to store tools, if the compressor is the better way to go.

Yes. Paslode makes one type that uses a small cartridge containing flammable gas that "fires" the nails. There is also a type that uses what looks like 22 caliber shells. They are expensive. You will be money ahead if you buy a small compressor. Afterwards you can use the compressor for cleaning, painting, or filling tires. If you cannot store a small compressor after you are finished, sell it.

There are several different types of "Finish Nailers". One called an "Impulse" uses a battery and a butane gas cell (not hydrogen), it fires the nails like an internal combustion engine, very expensive. It does not need compressors or hoses, but cost almost as much as a pneumatic with a compressor. Then the pneumatic nailers (compressed air). There are some fairly inexpensive kits available for home owners at Home Depot or Lowes. Then the battery powered electrics, these will only drive small brads, 3/4" or less. They are not expensive, bot are limited in nail length.
I suggest if you need one buy the DeWalt or Rigid pneumatic kits for home use, that's your cheapest option. Or you could rent the kit from a rental yard.

One of the answers was flippant, but correct. If you are just going to use it for a small project, it would be better to use a hammer and finish nails.

If you want an excuse to purchase a compressor, I WANT IT, always works for me.

I have never heard of a chemical cartridge nailer, though they could exist. Electric nailers usually are brad nailers or staplers, and aren't powerful enough for fastening trim. The 22 nailers are for fastening the footing of a wall to a cement slab, not for trim.

If you search around, you can find pancake compressors and brad nailer combinations on special, usually around Christmas. Oops! A little late there. Still they are around. Pancake compressors are small and easy to you. Unless you are framing a house, or a really fast roofer, they are large enough.

You will have to purchase a nailer too, as the brad nailer won't work for fastening the base you want to do. You can purchase finish nailers or a 1/4" crown nailer. You can attach base and window trim with that, but can be hard on 1/4 rounding.

You can use the crown nailer on many things, and it is pretty versatile.

Good Luck.

Yes. I am a DD and I have to say that is too much cleavage. I wish I was a C instead because I think that is the perfect size. I am only 5 feet tall so I think I am a little too top heavy and I always have to buy dresses that need to be taken in the waist. Although my back doesn't hurt from my breasts, my self esteem does take a hit sometimes. Plus, I would rather be considered classy as opposed to trashy and for some reason girls with naturally big boobs are usually deemed slutty.LOL maybe I misunderstood the question, I guess you didn't want my measurements but yes there is a such thing as too much cleavage, most cleavage shirts show too much on me so I don't wear em!

Yes there is the kind that you sit on the space you need to nail and hit the top with a rubber mallet. This is good for hardwood flooring. Especially if there is no electricty. They make similiar ones for roofing.

Paslode makes a gun that is gas powered
and DeWalt and Senco both make battery powered nailers...

What type of nailer are you looking for framing or finish?

Yes, there are electric nailers (cordless) and gas powered nailers that use hydrogen fuel cells (that's what I used to use). You can get them for any type of nail.
