I listened to "Is This It" by The Strokes one day and I was just blown away. Actually, the song isn't such a blowing-away type of thing but it just introduced me to a whole new genre of music: indie rock. After I heard that song, I was just sucked into the world of unknown bands and my outlook on music has changed like I can't deal with mainstream music as well and all that stuff. Yeah, sounds weird, I know. :)

Women of Ireland by The Chieftains. It is so beautiful. If you are talking with words I would have to say Ailein Duinn by Karen Matheson from the Rob Roy soundtrack. I don't understand Gaelic (I wish that I did), but it sounds so sad I almost cry when I listen to it.
