When Saints fans hold up signs that say Who Dat, are they getting that phrase from the movie the Waterboy?

There's a long-time phrase in New Orleans Saints that goes "Who Dat Gonna Beat Dem Saints?" which apparently is some sort of taunt to suggest that nobody can beat the Saints.

that's a clean Orleans term in many cases used as against 'Who?, who's there? or what?' it quite is an acknowledging term. Joe - howdy Ralph! Ralph - Who dat? Oh, wuz up Joe! that form of way - the Saints use it like 'Who dat? Dat's the Saints!'

No i think they old them up kuz of the team Now there playing really good and Now there in the playoffs and i think that is why they hold up a sign saying who dat
