Norton doesn't work very well. Ad-Aware is only slightly better.

Use SUPERAntiSpyware

http://www.SUPERAntiSpyware.com/

And watch out when you connect Microsoft Windows to the internet in future - it isn't safe to use!

Run Norton 2007 as a Boot CD. Boot from the CD, using the F12 startup menu.
The virus is probably in memory

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html
The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

You can try this free Online scanner; might get the trojan that Norton missed.

Download a 30 day free trial of Ewido from: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5

Install it and then restart in safe mode - tap F8 on black screen when restarting. Run a full scan in safe mode.
