I just got the battlefield 2 game and i want a joystick to fly planes with. I have a joystick(microsoft sidewinder 3d pro) but it supposed to go with windows 95, i don't have a port on the back of my computer that it will fit in, and i don't have the drivers anymore. I have an HP Media Center PC and if I get a new joystick what are your suggestions, what have you had a good expierience with or have been looking at that looks like a good one(if you can it would be helpful if you listed the price along with it)? Or is there a way to get my sidewinder 3d pro working on my computer(an adapter?)

i use the saitek x-52. u can program this stick to the point where u dont have to use the keyboard. has 3 modes u can program. takes a little getting used to. i got mine for 89 bucks. runs via usb port.

avoid logitech at all costs. they just cant hold up to the pressure of online flight sims. 1 of them quit after 2 months. they're junk.

Anything by Logitech or Saitek will be good. Here is each companies listing of joysticks, take a look and see what you like:http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/productlist/US/EN,crid=2214,categoryid=372
