Most definetly. He must reach 756 to beat the record and 754 or 755 mean absolutely nothing. Only the pitcher that gives up the record breaker will be remembered in baseball history. No one ever remembers the ones that came before the record (except number 1). So, YES, I would pitch to him.

Pitch to him....
If you are any type of a pitcher, then Bonds is no big issue.

He, like other hitters, can't hit the high heater...doesn't have much power hitting the low and away fast ball....and looks only for the fastball, not off speed.

He is cherry picking his pitches.

As for the possible drug use....let's check the rest of the league. Many, many professional athletes are using drugs to enhance their performance...but the league turns their head the other way.

Sosa, McGuire....and half the Cardinals were doped up.

Let's look at football players, are we piss testing them or better yet....random blood tests?

Pitch to Bonds, he is OLD.

If I were a manager of any team facing Bonds I would walk him every time up before it got to 754. I wouldn't conspire with any one I would just signal out to the pitcher or catcher and walk him every time. Every manager should adopt this that way no one gets in trouble with the league.

I think all major league pitchers should conspire to never pitch to Bonds again so that the cheating scum bag never hits another home run.

Yeah up and in. See how good those elbows are. I used to love him, he's dead to me now, he's a great player, he just shouldn't have been roids. I started giving him a second chance and then I saw the failed test, he's gone, I got rid of my Bonds jersey. I say let him get on 754 then walk him so he can never get it.

if barry wouldn't have set so many BB records, i wonder who many more homers he'd have for his career. hank's record would have been long gone years ago. barry deserves it. he has been the game's best power hitter in the last 15 years. he will break this record this season and pass the torch to guys like howard and pujols who will one day probably break bond's new record.

I wouldn't pitch to Barry Bonds under any circumstances for the rest of his career.
