Africa is the cradle of all humanity, and yet it is still one of the worst places in the world to be. From disease to political upheavals to genecide across the continent, strife abounds. I think healing the injustices in Africa would be a good first step to healing humanity. What can we do to improve the situation?

Increase more international aid to Africa for HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention, help pay for education for those that can't afford it, help increase agricultural practices, stop arming local militias that terrorize other villages, etc. There's so much that can be done, but it ultimately comes down to more money is needed.

If you want to know how you personally can help, check out nabuur.com. You can help out a local community in Africa with a program or help them do grant research.

The US already gives more money and aide to Africa than any other continent. The money is then stolen by the tyrants who rule and oppress the poor people there.

Africa could be the most prosperous continent in the world with all it's natural resources, but it's overrun with corrupt governments and socialist/communist leaders.

The only solution would be to take out those corrupt leaders, but everyone would get upset if we did that so instead we pump endless amounts of taxpayer money into a bottomless pit called Africa.

1) stamp out corruption ... it has become institutionalized everywhere in Africa
2) improve the quality of education

After achieving 1 & 2 above, let the Africans help themselves. Africa is blessed with the most abundant natural resourses of any continent in the world.

According to Global warming signs conditions in Africa will get worse. Remember the story of Joseph in the Bible? He interpreted the Pharoh's dream that there would be famine and so he recommended preparations.

I recommend that we prepare for climate changes in Africa, prepare to grow different crops suitable for the climate changes. (Also try to stop global warming by less CO2 emissions)

All the world needs to be mobilized to prepare for the changes to come. Of course AID/Hiv, malaria and other diseases need to be fought too. It is a tremendous job but priorities have to be established and the work has to be carried out, hopefully in time to do any good.
