Those who did vote for Mr Bush can rest assured that he did not win either election because a little nudging and fudging took place in the states of Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004. Otherwise, Mr Gore would be the President today serving his second term. The difference would be like night and day. I get heartburn just thinking about it.

As to why people voted for Mr Bush, I'm certain it's not for the conditions, both domestic and abroad, that the United States finds itself in today.

fear. because (barely) the majority in this country are more afraid to vote for change in a time of war at what they may have considered the risk of our 'enemies' seeing a chance to strike during the transition as well as a different take on how to succeed.

anyone who still thinks that kerry would have been a worse president than this 3rd grade level president clearly didn't watch the debates and see an intelligent opponent who had thoughtfully considered the issues vs. the angry kid who didn't like not being in control. how different it could be right now, and hopefully 08 won't be too late to turn things around.

Americans did not. The rednecks did and made him the president. Americans are generally disinterested with politics and voting.

Most didn't. Diebold helped steal the votes both times. Only time in the exit polls where the polls were wrong. He's not really our president.

Agreed, but the Republicans have a great plan to win political offices. They lie and do anything to get votes and some poor people buy it and the rich vote for them because they know their money is going to expand no matter how its done.
While their plan to win is great, they just never know how to run a government.

Unfortunatly it appears there are more idiots in the world then originally anticipated.

Besides he only got in by cheating in the first place. Gore was elected by the people.

Remember it was only 51%, not the "mandate" he claimed. We did not all vote for him and a lot of those who did are regretting it now.

Everyone makes mistakes. Just look at his approval ratings and see that more and more people are realizing that.
