By the way, some of ya'll have the wrong idea. I go to a bar for a good time not to look for a wife. A buddy of mine asked me this and I thought it was worthy of asking the great minds on Y!A

Here's an answer to your apparent dilemma:
Don't put any "bar equity" in until you have reason to believe
she IS interested in you - or, at least, that she MIGHT be
..........when she's drunk enough (Just joking!)
One more thought:
Most women aren't all that impressed by men who are easily
taken advantage of. Buy her ONE drink, if you must..... but, if she
doesn't respond favorably, there's no one forcing you to buy more.
Sounds as though you're trying too hard, and that will only make
you seem desperate.
Just like men, women are only as evil as you allow them to be.

Here's a friendly tip: If you really think about it, would any woman that you met in a BAR really be the type of woman you would want for a wife? The answer is NO. Stop expecting to meet responsible interested women in bars and try church or Y!A.

I'm sorry about your experience, but not all of us are evil. I could say the same about men, because I had a bad experience too (worse than yours actually) but I know there are many good men out there.
