It is quite normal to have more discharge when pregnant (it shouldn't be your water, because there wouldn't be any to speak of at 3 weeks). Sometimes the discharge is infection related though, so see your doctor to be sure (I'm just talking vaginitis....not infection to baby). Sometimes it is not any clear liquid, but more pee leaking than anything. But I dont know if you are far along enough for that yet. I got that at about 7 months pregnant to about 7 months post-partum! that is so annoying!

You can know that you are pregnant at 3 weeks. I just found out I am 3 weeks pregnant as well I am not supposed to start my period until tommorrow, but I took a pregnancy test that lets you test up to 4 days early and I took it two days ago so don't listen to those people who say you can't know they're wrong. As far as the leaking goes it depends on what you mean by leaking. It is normal to have increased vaginal discharge when you're pg it's called leukorrhea and as long as it doesn't have a smell or burn you should be fine, but if your concerned you could always see your doctor although at this stage they're not probably going to be able to tell you anything.

In response to natalie rose it is not too early at 3 weeks to find out that you are pregnant. If you think about it you test the first day of your missed period that is about 14 days after you ovulated and conceived. So therefore you can find out just at 3 weeks that you are pregnant.
You would not be leaking amniotic fluid as this doesn't develop until a tiny bit later in pregnancy. It is most likely vaginal fluid like discharge.
Good Luck with this.

Yes, you could still be leaking amniotic fluid, I did at 35 weeks and no dilation and delivered the baby via emergency c-section in 4 hours due to the baby being breech. Unfortunately, you'll need to go back to the hospital to have it checked. Take any clothing the fluid leaked on, as they may need to use it to test with the litmus paper. Call your Doctor NOW to see if you should be checked tonight at the hospital or wait til the Doctor's Office to open tomorrow. Best Wishes & Congratulations!

It all depends, if it is constant leaking then call your doctor immediately however, during pregnancy, women tend to have more leaking from down there due to an increase in hormones!

If you are 3 weeks pregnant, you haven't missed a period yet. Pregnancy is dated from the first day of your last period! If you are 3 weeks pregnant, your fetus probably hasn't even implanted yet. You are probably not even pregnant, just ovulating.

If you were 3 weeks pregnant you wouldnt know it. Its too early to tell with a pregnancy test. So Im not sure why you think you are pregnant.

Heatflora is so right...Natalie Rose is so wrong. it takes a week for the sperm to fertilize the egg. That is when you can find out your pregant. But most of the time no earlier. But everyones body fuctions differently. By the way you should go to the Dr. for your "discharge" and another preg test just to be sure.

That's most likely discharge stimulated by increasing amounts of the hormone progesterone ( you can confirm this if it smells like vinegar). Get a panty liner if it bothers you.

yes it's normal. thru your pregnancy you will experience a lot of discharge, it's just your hormones and your body at work. nothing to drastic unless you start to notice spots of blood, then you need to contact your doctor.
