Andromeda, was human she was the daughter of Cepheus and Cassiopeia. rescued by Perseus.

She was a princess, I believe, described to be more beautiful then Aphrodite or Posieden's daughters(or whoever), by her parents. Parents seemed to make a habit of doing that, then paying the price. Needles to say, Aphrodite/Posieden wasn't pleased and demanded her for sacrifice. Then her wonderful prince charming came along and saved her.
Oh, sorry, Got carried away, :P Yes, she was human.
