Hello there!

I found the following remedy to get silly putty out of
carpets:

1. Scrape off any excess Silly Putty with a butter knife.
2. Spray with WD-40 and let sit for about 10 minutes.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 as necessary.
4. Blot with rubbing alcohol until stain is removed.

try putting ice on it. That will harden the silly putty and you should be able to pick it off easier. When it starts getting putty like again, put more ice on it.

to clean glass and mirrors. For some reason it won't streak. Also to paper train pets, to wrap up glass and fragile items for moving, to kindle a fire in a fireplace or wood stove, to line the bottom of a bird cage. There is much that can be done with newspaper besides just reading it.

Put it in the freezer, and then when the the putty freezes than you should just be able to pull it off.
