First off, thank you ^.^
Not to be full of myself, but I think it is because redheads are...rare. We have the rarest hair color, only 2% of the world are redheads. Imagine walking through a crowd and you see a group with a brunnette, a blonde, and a redhead. They are equally beautiful, but your gaze goes to the redhead. Why? Because you don't see them as much.
Plus, redheads can get really really pale (thats me!), and seeing a bright redhead walking down the street with really white pale skin and green eyes is kind of stunning ^^
Everyone has their own preference, but I think redheads are awesome ^^ Too bad I got a skin disorder and a high risk of skin cancer to go with it :P

I agree with redjules2. I think redheads are knockouts. I come from a family of redheads myself, but unfortunately I started out blond and now I'm a brunette. Although I'm thankful for my features and what God's given me, I love my fair skin and blue/green eyes I'd hoped he'd bless me with a redhead daughter. But He blessed me with a beautiful blue-eyed brunette and a beautiful blue-eyed blond. But I just love the uniqueness of a NATURAL redhead, they're truly rare, and truly beautiful. I hope redheads never try to change the color of their hair.

Basing someone on their hair colour is very shallow.

im not a huge fan. although there are some. but there are some beautiful blondes and brunettes too, and also hideous ones. i guess it all depends on preference
