If you get Best Answer for an answer that deserved it, that would be better than 50 answers that were all unrelated to your question, such as "that's stupid, whatever, ., DUH, I hate your avatar, etc. It just depends.

it depends... if it's a question i really need to know the answer for, then i would say tons of answers, but i also like getting a best answer.
i guess i'll say tons of answers (as long as they're decent)

i like getting a ton of answers, but i like more getting a ton of best answers. and i prefer when i get picked best answer by the asker and many thumbs ups!
