Bad Samaritan: That makes absolutely no sense, i am grown up and i have paid taxes since i was 15, probably longer than you.... I said nothing in my question to go either way, just seeing what other people think... Maybe when you completely develope some common sense you'll see that.

Some people genuinely don't like him, for whatever reason, but from what I've seen here on YA, I'd say most people who say they hate Bush are just parroting what they've heard on the news, in school, or where ever. They can't debate on facts; they stoop to idiotic name-calling and childish insults.
Bush ruined the country that Clinton worked so hard to make better.
1. Illegal and pointless war that has made us less safe in the world - Plenty of Democrats also supported the war. Some even still do - where is the outrage against them?
2. Squandering a multi-trillion dollar budget surplus and replacing it with massive deficits that my generation will have to pay off. - Playing fast and loose with the books, ANYONE can "show" a surplus, on paper. The Clinton "surplus" seems to have been accomplished by borrowing accounting practices from Enron.
3. Invading our privacy with warrantless wiretapping, and breaking the law with it - If you are calling Hamas, or Al Qaeda, you don't DESERVE any privacy - you're a threat to this country.
Privacy is only an illusion these days, anyway - if someone *really* wants info on you, they can get it. And that's ANYONE - not just the gov't.
4. Cutting clean air standards and backing out of the Kyoto Protocol - But WHY did we back out? Read up on it - it would have been foolish to sign.
5. Failing to catch the person responsible for 9/11 - I'll give you this one, but also consider how hard it is for law enforcement to find wanted criminals in our own country.
6. Destroying the image of America in the international community - Um, the international community loves to hate America, and they have for years. They always ***** and whine that we interfere too much, but who do they always look to for help? America. So screw 'em - they're just jealous.
7. Cutting taxes for the rich at the expense of the middle class - WRONG! We are firmly middle-class, and we benefitted greatly from the Bush tax cuts. As for cuts on the rich, how much would be enough? I think that 35% is more than fair.
I could go on and on. - So could I.
Have a lovely day.

I became an independent because of Bush. He only holds Republican views on gun control & abortion. I've always gone against the grain on abortion, but I am a staunch supporter of smaller government & fisical responsability, And the idea of him being a republican just floors me. Every time I hear republicans defending him I know I made the right decision in becoming an independent. He's a pathetic exuse of a republican & I am glad i'm not clumped into the same catagory anymore. I just wish real republicans would look at his actions, & use their brains. They would realize he's not even close to being a real republican!

people fairly look to imagine the President has more suitable capacity than he fairly has. i'm no Bush lover, notwithstanding the Congress the Justices who now legislate from the bench are only as accountable. yet when I had to %. on a a million-10, i'd say 5.

Whats the point? This isn't a hate/love site for Bush. It's a Political/Goverment site to debate different subjects on, this love/hate Bush thing is ruining this site.

Don't hate Bush: pity him. He's a pathetic loser, unable to think for himself, and incapable of reasonable judgment. -RKO-
