Is it possible if you tear during childbirth that the dr does not stitch you up correctly. And if so is there anything other then surgery that can fix that.

First, what makes you think that you weren't stitched up correctly? And, how long ago did you give birth? In regards to another answer that was given, everyone does not tear and an episiotomy is not a cut between the cervix and the anus. Anyway, if you really believe that there is a problem with the way you were stitched, you need to see your doctor immediately, before the area has time to heal completely. Chances are you had an extensive repair and things just feel weird down there. It can take up to 6 months or even longer sometimes to feel "normal" down there. Honestly, if you're concerned, the best advice I can give is to have it checked out.

If it was not sewed right the first time i would surely have a serious talk with the Dr. who did the surgery. But you will normally have some discharge for several weeks until it heals itself,it takes longer sometimes since it is an inside wound. Hope all goes well.

Episotomy is the cutting of the area between cervix and anus...It will naturally tear during childbirth and there are ways the doctor orders to help it heal...I got a heat lamp and other things to make me more comfortable for several days...You will be fine if you listen to your doctor and keep pads changed, sitz baths...what a life...

You may have to have a debridement to get rid of the dead skin and they just stitch you up again. It's not really surgery. Keep the wound clean and it should be fine.
