i agree with you.. we know that becks isnt in top form right now so his frequent practice is part of getting him back into shape. but i think its pretty dumb to publicly announce that he wont be playing(yet again). it shatters plater morale and dampens motivation. so instead of encouraging him so he'll work harder, they're destroying his will to play..
but hey, i always thought becks would've done better if he stayed in Man U, at least Ferguson seems to know how to deal with him.
so yeah, in a way, signing with LA is Becks ticket out of frustration with the galacticos. he'd rather play in hollywood, at least people think better of him there.. :D

I totally agree with you . What kind of a coach who has a great player like Beckham and not use him and keep him training for six months . Also i think that the reason for Becks to sign with LA is MONEY in the first place and second is Real coach .

Its a long stretch - 5 months without a proper match but Capello felt that Beckham had no commitment to the club which could hurt Real Madrid... There's politics behind this story that no one will ever know so you can't really call it a stupid excuse.

It totally makes sense. Real is much better off playing someone who is hungry to win for Real. Beckham is most likely concentrating far more on his future in LA. Besides, Beckham is already a bench player in Madrid, so there's not a big downside to not playing him.

LA prolly paid him not to play him to protect their investment and to ensure he remains injury free.
But yes it's dumb and shouldn't be allowed.
