I don't know what to do. Should I resign?

I've been sitting here all night. I haven't had sex for months. I did this thing that includes having a lot of people dying and it was the only thing I could think of to not lose face. My dad helps me a lot, but I still don't know what he wants. I thought I impressed him a couple of weeks ago by giving him a present, but he still acts the same. I don't have any reason to be sad. I have a big ranch and lots of money. I've got lots of worldly power, but people still hate me. I want to quit my job, but I'm afraid if I do, I'll look like a wimp. I'm really tired of that moniker. I never did well in school, and I sort of skipped out on military duty. I just feel really strange. Should I quit my job?

It's your choice, but if I were you, I'd quit it. If you have money, than you can start something else. You have just one life to live. You should use your time for yourself (your needs, wants, values, passion) as best as you can. Some people might think that you're a wimp, but if you think that you have to please them all the time, than you're trapped, you're a person without freedom.

You don't have any worldly power as you call it if you don't have that power over yourself. You need to embrace your life and do whatever will make YOU happy regardless of what other people think. If they think you are a wimp how can that hurt you if you know you are not? And some parents are never impressed no matter how much you do or what you attain...should you spend your life trying to gain approval that will never come? I don't think so. If you can lay your head down on your pillow every night having done something useful or worthwhile or that you have a passion for and not having harmed anyone along the way then that is what will make you a success. Take whatever talents you have and help others with it...teach...mentor...create something. Life is short and it's not a rehearsal...you only get one go around at it...make the most of it and yourself and if people hate you then so be it. But I am betting that once you start liking yourself a little more that will rub off on others too. Good luck with whatever awaits you...this could be the beginning of your life.

If your not happy with it then quit! Its not on the money its on the hapiness your job is giving you. So if you are not happy with it, then quit! dont think of what others would say. Everybody has something to say. Good or bad, just dont feel affected. Don't lose your hope cos "At the end of the rainbow, there's a pot of gold".

Dammit son!!! Don you go quittin' on me boy!!! I had to pull a lotta strings to get you elected as President after that other guy went and got too many votes. I stuck it our when I was in the job, and did Gulf War 1, and even left that Saddumb-*** guy in charge so you'd get the fun bit. If you quit, I'm gonna personally tan your hide Dubya.

THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN TELL YOU TO QUIT YOUR JOB IS YOURSELF. NO ONE CAN DO THAT FOR YOU. JUST BE SURE IF THATS WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO, THAN TO DO IT AND REGRET IT LATER. GOOD LUCK ON ANY DECISION YOU MAKE.
