So many people would answer this differently.
I can say so many things... A good parent is one that as a child would realize that one has to get down (better off up) to their childs level in order for them to enjoy time with their parents regardless of how stupid they might look.
A good parent is a friend and knows that sometimes it's best to recompensate for the bad things that their children might do, for this may be the way for them to understand and be more open with their parents.
A good parent tries to learn to play an instrument or learns to do interesting things that might interest their children in the future to try their best to keep them off the streets and the bad things happening out there.
A good parent does his or her best to instill fear of God onto their children and teaches their kids that there is a heaven and there is a hell and there is a way to live life in order to win over what you prefer for the rest of eternity.
I can go on and on, but there is no use cause being a parent entales so many things I don't think that one could sum it up in one sentence on in a short paragraph
